The firm's home is a stately 1903 neoclassical mansion originally built by Annie H. Winter. The Firm received the 2004 El Paso Preservation Alliance Award for the best historic renovation. The residence was lovingly restored to its original grandeur. Floors were stripped of aged carpeting and brought back to life. The walls are now covered in vivid wallpaper in the neo classical style. Fireplaces, once hidden away, were uncovered and are now a focal point of each room. The Winter-Hammond house now boasts all the modern comforts while maintaining its historic splendor. |
